The Huskies boys tennis team took their 3rd place finish at MHSAA Regionals personal and were determined to improve at the MHSAA State Finals in Kalamazoo on Friday and Saturday. Improve they did! The Huskies saw all eight flights make it to round 3 scoring valuable points for the Huskies. Leading the way for the Huskies was Sebastian Madlangbayan who was the MHSAA State Champion at #2 singles. Those that made it to the semifinals in their respective flight were #3 singles Vikram Krishnan, #2 Doubles Quinn Suvedi/Breck Suvedi, #3 Doubles Jackson Kenworthy/Cam Radel. #1 doubles were MHSAA State Runners up Tanay Shenoy/Matthew Chan along with #4 Doubles Marcus Bernard/ Will Hernly. The Huskies totaled 23 points edging out Midland Dow and Birmingham Seaholm for the State Championship in Division 2 for 2024.
