ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Forest Hills United Rugby's Deadheads are state champions. The Deadheads claimed the Michigan Rugby Division 2 State Championship with an impressive victory over Rockford in the championship match held in Ann Arbor. The title marks a significant achievement for the Forest Hills United program and caps off a season defined by hard work, resilience, and teamwork. Facing a talented Rockford squad, the Deadheads delivered a complete performance on both sides of the ball. Their disciplined defense, physical play, and relentless effort helped secure the championship and bring the Division 2 state title back to the Forest Hills community. This championship is a testament to the dedication of our student-athletes, coaches, and families, said Coach Ross.
